When God Provides in the In-Between

When God Provides in the In-Between

And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19 (ESV)

There are seasons when God’s provision does not feel generous. It feels careful. Measured. Almost quiet.

You pray for a breakthrough, but instead you receive enough strength to get through the day. You ask for answers, and what comes is endurance. At first, this can feel like being overlooked. It can feel like God is withholding something good.

But provision is not always about excess. Often it is about sustainability.

God knows what we need not just to escape a season, but to survive it with our faith intact. Sometimes immediate solutions would bypass the deeper work happening in us. So He provides what keeps us steady rather than what rushes us forward.

You may look back and realize you never had extra. But you always had enough. Enough peace to sleep when anxiety threatened. Enough courage to keep showing up when quitting felt easier. Enough grace to try again after disappointment. That was not accidental. That was God supplying exactly what your heart could carry.

Provision often arrives in ordinary ways. A timely conversation. A moment of unexpected calm. Strength that appears right when you think you have none left.

If you feel like you are living in the in-between, God has not forgotten you. He is still providing, even here.

Prayer:

God, help me trust Your provision when it feels small or slow. Open my eyes to how You are sustaining me today. Amen.
