Mar 20 Singing Me To Sleep

The Lord your God is with you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:77

One of my night time routines is to read stories to my youngest daughter and sing to her until she falls asleep. I try to set a soothing mood with soft lullabies.

It never fails that half way though the song my precious one falls asleep.

It brings me great comfort to know that once I put my sweet child to sleep, it will then be my turn. As I lay my head down each night and feel the weight of the day lifted I am comforted knowing the Lord is singing over me.

Thank You Jesus for quieting me with Your love and rejoicing over me Your singing.
