Truth in the Quiet

Jesus said …

Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.

John 17:17 NLT

Do you know what God’s Word says?

There is hope … even in the impossible.

Is there something that you face today that seems impossible and hopeless?

Maybe someone close to you who rejects God … causing a splintered family.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but WITH God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26 CSB).

Jesus is sharing the secret … WITH God … all things are possible.

With God … that one can be saved.

We don’t always know why things happen the way they do but we do know …

 (Jesus is speaking)

There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now.

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. 

All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me’ (John 16:12-15 NLT).

Jesus sends His Spirit to speak to me … in the quiet place of my heart.

Go. Quiet your heart.

Find God in the quiet.

Listen. He speaks.

And He will speak to you too … find His truth in the quiet.

Father, You are showing me in Your Word that Your Spirit gives me a very specific message from Jesus. It is designed specifically for me. Help me hear it. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
