Verity, Verify, Very Trustworthy

Send forth Your light and Your truth, let them guide me.

Psalms 43:3

The Psalmist writes, Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light for my path (Psalms 119:105). If, like myself, you have unexpectedly found yourself on a dark path and wished you had a flashlight, a blazing torch, or that handy-dandy flashlight app on your cell phone. Anything for a light source to keep you from falling would be appreciated.

God has already supplied our world with THE LIGHT SOURCE and THE TRUTH, and it is HIS WORD. He did not put us here to be falling and floundering around in darkness and afraid to move forward.  

Truth and light are everywhere in the Bible. But, some today are so ready and willing to believe anything but truth. Truth is a constant even though many believe truth is whatever you want it to be. So they will believe in anything and nothing.

Pronouncing a truth no longer valid does neither diminish its validity nor render it invalid one iota.

Lord, thank you Your Word is eternally true and vital.
