I want to encourage you in your faith

Romans 1:12 NLT

My heart broke when I heard her story.

 Pain and difficulty caused by others and sometimes herself.

 The struggle to forgive.

 Then my heart jumped for joy when she shared the difference Jesus made in her life.

 Things coming together, making sense… real healing.

 Her heart and her life were changed for the better by Jesus.

 And she gave Jesus glory through her story.

 I was encouraged.

 I thought about my own story… Could I encourage another like that?

 Could you?

 Jesus brought this to my attention in His Word…

 God knows how often I pray for you. Day and night I bring you and your needs in prayer to God, whom I serve with all my heart by spreading the Good News about his Son… When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. (Romans 1:9, 12 NLT).

 Jesus is reminding me that telling the story of Him in my life and what He has done…  is how I encourage the faith of another.

 Spreading the Good News of Jesus will naturally be part of my story… when I explain the healing in my heart.

 Simply by another asking… how can I find healing like that?

 Jesus is the only way to true healing.

 Father, in the quiet of my heart, You speak to me as I receive Your healing and my life changes. You encourage me to tell another about Jesus, so they can find You. So, they can be free and forgiven too. Help me find those with ready hearts to listen as I share my story for Your glory. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
