Tell Your Story

Tell Your Story

Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.

Psalm 107:2

Do you have a story to tell?

If Christ changed your life, that is the greatest story to tell…your testimony.

I like to use Psalm 40:1-2 to tell my God story.

I had accepted Christ as a young girl when my grandmother shared with me how to be saved and led me in the prayer to ask Jesus into my heart.

It was not until college when I realized there was a distinct difference in believing Him as God and having a personal relationship with Him. When I realized I was longing for that intimacy, “He turned to me and heard my cry” (1).

For so many years I was walking straddled between the ways of the world and living for God. My weeks consisted of going out at night and living the “worldly life” and then appearing to church on Sunday all smiles. I had never fully given Christ my whole heart. When I finally realized how broken I was, “He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the much and mire” (2).

Being set free from my sins and fully surrendering my life to Christ had given me peace unlike I had ever felt. My desire was to be used and known by Him. My whole lifestyle changed! Christ had, “set my feet upon a rock and gave me a firm place to stand”(2).

I now have the blessed assurance that Jesus is mine and I am His. Today, “my lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to You – I whom you have delivered” (Psalm 71:23).

If Christ has redeemed you, then share it with others.

People love to hear a good story!

Thank You God for saving me and allowing me to participate in Your Kingdom work.
