New Growth

The Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.

John 3:6 NLT

Walking through fields of beautiful flowers… amazing!

 I don’t have to know much about gardening to enjoy it… thankfully.

 I know that if mixed correctly, flowering plants, dirt, sun, water, time… out comes beautiful flowers!

 God does the growing!

 I don’t have to know all the details of how… I can just be amazed by the results.

 It is the same with leading another to Jesus.

 When I am moved to share Jesus with another… I have something important to remember.

 I can lead someone to Jesus… but I don’t save that one… Jesus does.

 Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life (John 3:5-6 NLT).

 It is important to know it is not my responsibility to make someone believe in Jesus.

 The pressure is… off!

 I just need to know the right mix… I am to tell that one what I have heard and seen in my life as I walk with Jesus, giving Jesus all the glory.

 And… “the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life…” in that one.

 God does the growing!

 I don’t have to know the details… I can just be amazed by the results!

Father, in the quiet of my heart, You speak letting me know that I do not save anyone – I don’t open another’s eyes to understand spiritual truth that only comes from You. Lead me to lead another to You. Let me see You open their eyes. I want to be amazed by You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
