The Next Piece

At the right time he will bring everything together…

Ephesians 1:10 NLT

 Life with Jesus is like a puzzle.

 There are all these pieces to life… but they don’t always make sense alone.

 Or if I try to connect them on my own… I can see a glimpse of the picture, but not the full picture.

 Then… Scripture says this…

God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ – which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ – everything in heaven and on earth (Ephesians 1:9-10 NLT).

 This explains why life with Jesus seems like a puzzle… At the right time… it will all make sense.

 But I must stick with Jesus to see it.

 And there is more…

Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan (Ephesians 1:11 NLT).

 I have a part in God’s plan.

 You do too.

 At the right time… all the pieces of the puzzle will fit together and we will see the big picture.

 Until then… you and I are to take the next step that Jesus is leading us to take.

 It is the next piece of the puzzle.

 It is part of the growing process with Jesus.

 Trust Jesus.

 Father, in the quiet of my heart, You speak to me whispering “I love you, trust me.” I don’t always see the big picture, but I know that you do. Help me trust Jesus as He leads me, especially when things don’t always make sense to me. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
